But then you also are constantly bitching whenever people in the forums complain about the same items or sellers being repeated on the FP 5 times a day. You say they are just jealous or mean spirited, etc. How exactly is your anti-grey complaining better than the anti-repeat complaining?

And asking etsy for some variety (I said, sure, have some white ones, but please,can you throw in some colour once in a while, oops) is a lot different than what you are saying.

November 30, 2008 at 9:50:00 PM ESTThat's funny. Variety is EXACTLY what the people who complain about FP repeats are asking for as well! They don't say never put up certain sellers, they just say don't put them up 5 times a day. Seeing the same sellers, items, or colors 5 times a day is boring.

I have said that many many many are jealous b/c they have never made the fp and many who DO make it mutlitple times have nothing to do w/ getting there. it's ugly to throw crap at innocents and make them feel bad for success. Not every multiple appearance has to do w/ favoritism.
And not everything is a conspiracy.
You know where they put people who think otherwise.

The people who complain about the repetition and favoritism do NOT blame the sellers. They blame admins. They also don't say the repeated sellers items are ugly or "depressing", which you are saying about anything that isn't neon colored.
So when they complain about the repeats you assume they are "jealous", but when you complain about the neutral colors being "ugly", are we supposed to assume it's NOT because you want your brightly colored items on the FP?
Other people want variety. You want variety.
Pots and kettles= both black.
Some pots are less self-aware than others.
(black is a nice color though.)

I don't care if I make the front page ever again. It has nothing to do w/ me.
It's MY responsibility to sell items, not admins.
however, if I'm going to a new site and it's not inviting, I leave. This is common.
