If you receive an inquiry from content [!at] etsy.com and have questions or need clarification, just reply to their email and they will be happy to help!

Everyone DOES that, they reply to the confusing etsy emails they receive and they NEVER get any replies. THAT is why they come to the damn forums! The main problem with communication from the content team is they do NOT answer questions or reply to emails. There have been multiple threads closed in the past few days from people who got flagged, emailed by Tim from the content team, and can't figure out what the fuck they did wrong. All of them tried asking him and none of them got any replies. He is NOT "happy to help". He just ignores customers.

If people could get a fucking straight answer from Etsy they wouldn't be forced to turn to the forums. Bullshit answers like this one by Mary are maddening.

I'm so thrilled to have a thread that I started appear on Closed Threads!! I started this thread because I was flagged twice for selling vintage items that weren't 20 years old and got the same generic email each time. I don't even sell vintage but do use vintage papers in my pendants and use the tag vintage which I was assured was okay. The thread got off track, but my fear was that someone is maliciously flagging shops that are doing nothing wrong in an effort to get them shut down.
I took all reference to vintage off my tags and titles (which I shouldn't have had to do) in the hopes that it will stop the flagger from targeting me again. I think there are a few other shops who have also been flagged for correctly using vintage as a tag.
