These people complaining are dumbasses, don't they realize they can search according to price range? Idiots, and that soap is another one in the same class as the pussbush, trolling threads, attacking people and all that stuff.
January 22, 2009 at 12:09:00 PM ESTI think the jewelry and photo sellers who complain are dying to see this law pass so they will have more room on the site if not then why freaking complain to have the items pulled. Matt posted a thread about it and they came to a decision for now of keeping the listings up until they have a community meeting in the etsy labs and he's admin.
I really don't think this sellers care if they are losing sales at the moment by having the high priced awareness listings as they will lose everything come Feb 10th if the law is not changed. I think that is more important right now than getting a few sales because buyers want to "support" them, support them by writing, emailing and calling there congress people and all that stuff.
sorry soap should be stamp
January 22, 2009 at 12:13:00 PM ESTHow is this "cluttering up" the listings? And it's not overpriced, those are the actual prices of what testing costs. They researched it, they didn't just make up prices out of thin air.
January 23, 2009 at 2:36:00 AM ESTI thought the comment that was made about how customer might go off and say that "oh children's items on etsy are so high priced I'm never going back there" (or something like this) was funny cause that will be a reality soon if the law isn't changed. There will either be NO kids items to find on etsy or very very high priced ones, so that comment was really really really stupid, must be someone who really doesn't understand the serverity of this law. idiots
