9 hours passed between the last post in the thread, and when it was locked. So it must have already been on page 5 or 6 of the forum by that time. I will dare to say a lock was not necessary at that point, what should happen is ban the idiot who made the racist comment. The rest of the thread was perfectly pleasant. But their sock puppet account is still there, and the thread is locked, after it's already dead.
