I'll own up to this thread. I still disagree with some of her statements and methods. Plastic is just as recyclable as glass, maybe even more so. I think it was wrong of her to state that anyone that uses plastic is being cheap and fake. I also think she makes false claims on her products, and as Goat commented she doesn't follow FDA regulations. As much as I love essential oils too, the truth is some of them can be more toxic (dangerous) than synthetic oils. You have to be extremely careful with them and follow very closely to the usage guidelines.

October 5, 2009 at 4:47:00 PM EDTIts unacceptable to, with no specificity to any person place or thing, speak towards something that you are passionate about, and give your opinions on an issue when you are asked pointedly to give advice to other sellers?
But, its acceptable--no, encouraged--to post specifically about one person and rail them in the forums? And, apparently, here as well.
Hmmm...I will try to wrap my mind around that one and find the logic. I'll get back to you if I figure it out.
I wouldn't hold your breath...
I could see lashing back at someone if they came to the forum without invitation and hostilely suggested that everyone do what they do. I hate that as much as the next person...no one should tell me now to run my shop. But when asked specifically what advice you'd give, you should be able to give it.
She says stop using plastic, etc, and then... uses plastic in some of her items that are for sale.

October 5, 2009 at 8:17:00 PM EDTNo, plastic is not as easily recyclable as glass. This site has some good information:

I use (and recycle) plastic. However, I don't feel offended at all. In fact, I may just go purchase something from the featured seller.
I don't mind that some of you disagree with me. You are entitled to your opinion. Snarky or not. Doesn't matter to me.
