The people that pick the GG items ARE lazy, and have a thin knowledge of handmade. Or maybe they just cannot READ.
November 30, 2009 at 7:53:00 PM ESTThey hate being told about it-== flagging is a joke. These people have no clue; they do not even marginally vet the items they pick for the GGs.
They also have absolutely no integrity, which seems to be fine with Maria as long as the money rolls in.
December 1, 2009 at 7:48:00 AM ESTEtsy employees make themselves look like a big joke.
So nice to know that Rob is giving the old 'if you want to complain about a certain seller just email Etsy but don't talk about it in the forums because it makes us look bad' reply... Wish they would actually come out and say 'Yes, you're right. We fucked up, and we apologize. We need to have a serious look at how we put items in the GGs to make sure a mistake like this will never happen again'.
December 1, 2009 at 1:42:00 PM ESTBut it's Etsy, so that won't happen, sadly...
reseller calling out reseller. The cycle is complete. we can all go to bed.
December 2, 2009 at 1:48:00 AM ESTYes I have spoken with her in convo and she didn't convince me at all. You don't whip garnments that evolved (shirt, pant) in 2 or 3 hours. I think she just put the tag on them and call them hers and handmade. Have a look at her .org site. Artist re-appropriation.
