I flagged that thread early on . . . I just knew that the OP was going to get attacked and people wouldn't take the time to figure out that there was more to the story (Op's autism) . . . it took WAAAAAAY too long to close that thread. Sad.

Where was the OP wasn't attacked in that thread? I didn't see any attacking, just some reasonable questions and statements.

Is it really fair to the person with autism to ask that the thread be shut down *just in case* people attacked him?

That seems kind of condescending to me... like the OP needs to be protected. Does he? Or can he protect herself, just like he runs his own (awesome) etsy store?
