nutmegclick's shop is gone. Unfortunately, her other two shops (nutmegclicks and pulpindia) are still there.
She had been previously shown to be reselling items and there was some suspected shilling.
What seemed to finally get the shop closed was the negative feedback. The negative feedback was piling up because she hadn't been shipping her items and she was ignoring all convos and emails from her buyers. Some buyers opened claims with paypal and were awarded refunds, but she had no money in her paypal account for those refunds.
Some people have started to receive their purchases (that were purchased in early september and mailed in late october). It seems that not everyone is getting what they ordered.
As popular as she was, she didn't take care of her shop or her buyers and deserved to be closed.
There are still things for sale on Etsy tagged "Adia in India" including new ones. Are these raising money to buy the Nutmeg's return to India tickets?
Filbert... stop it. There's no NEW listings. These are the same as before. I've taken a bloody week off from this due to illness, so haven't sent the second notification to the remaining sellers yet.
No new ones? There is one listed on 5th November and one on 26th October. They are probably re-listings but you should be ensuring this doesn't happen.
This mess was supposed to have been stopped two weeks or more ago.

So it WAS a scam after all? For sure?
November 6, 2009 at 5:16:00 PM ESTwell the Adia thing hasn't been proven to be a scam, it's still a complicated situation.
November 6, 2009 at 6:32:00 PM ESTWhat was proven was that in fact nutmeg was reselling items in her shop AND not shipping the items to customers.
Ah well then. If that's the case she totally deserved to be kicked out.
