How was this calling out? No one said the items sucked or were ugly, just that they didn't seem to fit the supposed theme stated by the curator (which was Etsy admin). Some thought it was a bug, that two titles got switched, since the following front page did look very spring-y. Every time admins make a mistake and someone mentions it, people assume they are insulting the item or the artist, even though no one has.
I noticed a few items in the St. Patricks Day gift guide which don't have any connection to Ireland and are not green in color, and simply stating that fact is not attacking or insulting the artists. The artists didn't tag their items with St. Patrick's day and did not put their item in that gift guide. Admins put them there. The items are great, they just don't have any connection to the theme. But inevitably someone would say "no calling out". WTF?
