Give me a break. If you don't want this situation to occur again, you better damn well compare addresses, and contact the buyer if there's a discrepancy that goes against your shipping policies.

So, if I read this (and the other thread) right, you're upset because the customer "screwed up" because they didn't follow your policies and make sure the addresses matched, and then you "screwed up" because you didn't double check that the addresses matched. Why is it the customer's fault and not yours? Or vice versa? It can be argued both ways.
July 20, 2009 at 9:44:00 AM EDTThink of this: you work in a B & M store. A customer gives you a check, but forgot to sign it, or wrote it for the wrong amount, whatever. You, the cashier, didn't double check the information on the check is correct, and now the bank won't cash it. Whose fault is it? The customer, or the cashier?
The point is, transaction data should be checked and re-checked every step of the way, by both the customer and the seller. People are human, and will make mistakes. And if people are checking that paperwork when it comes across their desk, the mistakes will be caught. Don't assume the person before you did their job.
Was the feedback removed, or is she referring to the neutral left on 7/10 that talks about a permanent crease in the bag as a result of the seller folding it to ship?
July 20, 2009 at 10:44:00 AM EDTBased on her overall feedback, I wouldn't hesitate to buy something from her. But now, after seeing her attitude on the forums, I'd take my money and spend it elsewhere.
Jennifer the feedback was removed or they kissed and made up. There used to be a neutral about the item going to the wrong address. That other neutral about the item arriving with a crease is unrelated.
