Can we not use "Hispanic" now as well? Because it throws all Spanish speakers from many countries, regardless of cultural differences, into one stupid label.

December 9, 2009 at 10:10:00 PM ESTUnless you are exposed to it, either living there or know people that live there, who's to know what terms are offensive and what isn't? And that applies to everywhere in the world! Mentally retarded sounds like it's not politically correct now-a-days, but in facilities and hospitals, it is the correct term. It's getting to where you are afraid to talk anymore, in fear of offending someone. Meanings of words and slang do change from generation to generation.....

Anyway, a few days ago I was wondering who admin was going to insult this year - last year it was grandpas who like whittlin' and fatties who like scales and candy.
